People need to remember that they will be old one day & learn how to treat people with kindness.

We have become Godless and Ungodly, now you are seeing the beginning of the results.

Where have we come as a nation?

Maybe these old folks could go sit in the Library and help these younger ones learn how to spell and use grammar.

So maybe next time, just say, Hello. Buy them a cup a coffee and and a donut and bow, cause someday you will be old and just living that long deserves respect.

I see basically the same ones sitting there every Saturday morning with their cart of paid for groceries. Must be their meeting place.

Backwater I don’t think that’s the case with these folks..it’s a hangout. A senior club that makes them think you can buy a drink and sit from open till near supper time.

carter falls, ker scott, all that is too far from downtown for the elderly.

They can go up to kohl's or Belks and sit in the entry way on the benches.

Some of those sitters could be like some of those shoppers.Just in the Walmarks to get the AC in the summer time and heat in the winter.I know a guy that would load up his wife and 3 kids and go to Lowes,Walmart and Kmart in the summer and walk Thruout the store until 10 pm using free AC .

I’m pretty sure Wilkes has an adult daycare center - maybe that’s where they need to go squat. Like a bunch of children.

App- were on the same side, really. But I’ve seen them old bags sitting there asleep before. They need to be booted like a pack of teens would. Walmart has benches outside they could park their arse on. But nooo they wanna come in the DD so they can stare at any actual shoppers. I hope they know how people hate that. Burns me up!

wilkes regional to the post office should be redone for the elderly to sit on the hills overlooking town. one big community garden and shade structures. outside restrooms

from a bigger picture, it goes to show wilkes has NOTHING to offer its people like blowing rock does where people can sit on a hill overlooking the highway and local businesses.

If I was a Walmart sitter I would get me a black girlfriend to sit with me, no way could you get kicked out.

I don’t think they can be shamed. If the Chief of police dragging ones arse out while they cry and carry on like a toddler being told no, then nothing can shame them.
